2011

Hi dudes! So I haven't blogged for a few months. Things have just now started calming down. We moved to a new home 2 days before Christmas, I've celebrated 2 years of marriage in November, the new year has come and work has slowed down. I've also been really sick the last week and the week before that. Yay! For me and my pathetic excuse for an immune system. XP

Onto blog business! I have managed to buy a few things during some of the craziness over the last couple months. I bought myself a new tube of Dollywink liquid eyeliner. (Which shows how much I dig the stuff, I don't think I'll be switching eyeliners anytime soon.) I've also taken it upon myself to pick up a tube of Canmake's Gokubuto Mascara. So far, I like it, you definitely have to have patience applying it. For me, if I apply a new coat before the first coat dries, it gets a bit messy and clumpy for me. (I like my lashes to be defined and somewhat clean.) I like the volume and decent length it provides, of course keep in mind my lashes are decently long. (They're definitely not stubby :P) I typically go for volume when it comes to mascaras and my lashes, of course extra length is always a plus. I also love the convenience of the product, it washes off easily with warm water and a regular face wash, no need for eyemakeup remover really. (BIG plus) Just my personal opinion: I feel it maybe a bit healthier for my lashes then regular mascara/waterproof mascaras. Of course, to each their own.

I also picked up a tube of Dejavu's Fiberwig Lash Knockout. I have yet to open it up and test it out yet, as I was trying to get a feel for the Gokubuto mascara. My take on mascara period? I am really diggin' the Korean/Japanese mascaras. Don't get me wrong, I still love my Covergirl Lashblast, Lashblast Length and my new fave Lashblast Fusion (it works great for me). However, I love the convenience of the water-resistant Korean/Japanese mascaras, it makes makeup removal so quick and easy. I feel like I'm doing better for my delicate eye area as well, not having to tug and pull so much. (>.< )o Maybe, I'll post pics for comparison/review, just haven't found a good time to take those kind of pictures! (T^T) Forgive me!

I've also been using the Skin 79 Hot Pink BB cream for at least 2 months now and I really love it! It even smells pleasant! I used to not wear makeup at all because the smells bugged me and my skin is really sensitive, but this stuff has just been so nice to me! XD It's light (in my opinion) it's lasted quite a long time for me, I believe I bought it before Christmas/December. I don't need a lot of product to evenly cover my face (I use a thin layer, just enough to even out my skin tone/texture) but I feel it has decent coverage for those of you who may need more coverage. I like the results of using it under my eyes, it cancels out me having to use or need concealer really. (Maybe I'm lucky too, I don't have really bad dark circles like some people do, but I do look dead tired on occasion and it's helped.) I would definitely recommend it for people who are looking for a little something to cover a few blemishes and a little redness.

Anywho, sorry for the random makeup rants but I hope my mini-reviews/rants have helped someone out! (^____^);; I hope to give full on reviews including pictures and ratings in the future, but not making any guarantees because I'm lazy. (._. );

Until next time dudes!
